Our Methods

We can suggest many different marketing methods to help kick start your business

Database Management and E-newsletters

The cornerstone of marketing is keeping track of your prospects and clients and recording relevant information about them. Your database is one of the most under-used marketing tools at your disposal.

Email marketing can be a cost effective, quick and easy way to market your product and services to prospective clients. Email marketing can be effective if you build your own list of prospects, work with a reputable email marketing company or consider working with a joint partner. Sending emails to people who haven't requested them can seriously damage your company's reputation

Advertising and PR

Advertising can be expensive so you need to be sure what you are trying to communicate before you commit your cash. For it to be effective it has to appear regularly, building up reader recognition over time.

PR can work wonders for your company but getting results takes a lot more than just sending out press releases. It is about getting coverage in the publications read by your target market, it won't give instant sales but it can generate interest over time and raise the profile of your company .

Website and Brochures

Your website can be a powerful marketing tool, or it can just sit out there on the internet doing nothing, acting as an online brochure and that your target audience only ever find if you tell them your web address. If your website doesn't come to the attention of your target market, one of your competitors' sites will.

Printed material is still important and brochures have their place but they must be developed with your target audience in mind. Think like your clients and understand what drives them to buy when designing your brochure

Direct Mail

It is a sad fact that most direct mail ends up in the bin, but it is only most direct mail not all! Give your direct mail an extra boost by ensuring you decide what you want to achieve by sending it out, have a clear picture of your target market, ensure there is a headline or hook it must provoke action!

Partnerships, Networking and Sponsorship

Find companies that have complementary products or services to the ones that you provide and develop relationships with them and discuss potential joint opportunities.

Do you attend networking events from time to time and feel they are a waste of time? If sochange the way you think about networking. Only go to events that are likely to be attended by your target audience. It isn't just about getting rid of as many business cards as possible,it is about pinpointing the people you would like to meet, ask the organisers who will be attending, ask for a list in advance if possible. Find the people you want to meet and ensure you have a chat with them, introduce yourself and listen to what they have to say. Networking is also an ideal way to find companies that can be potential for partnerships and referrals.

Sponsorship is not just for the big consumer brands and is a good way to raise awareness of your products and services. Opportunities come in all shapes and sizes from business dinners, golf days or supporting a local football team.

Hospitality

Making your customers feel valued is important and arranging special events where they get an opportunity to meet you and your other clients can be a good way of maintaining their loyalty. Choose an event suited to your target audience and they will find some value in attending.

You could organise a series of private dinners or lunches and ask them to bring along a colleague from another company. You get to talk to existing clients and hopefully meet new ones, all in a relaxed setting.
